Two Post Lift

The two post lift is a specialized kind oflifting equipment for car repair and maintenance, widely used for the repairand maintenance of small cars. Two post lift lifts cars into the air to save agreat deal of space and facilitate the operation. Two post lift can savematerials to the largest extent since it will get rid of the chassis base.Since the post's torsion is offset by the ground, the ground work must reach ahigh standard. In the case of two post gantry lift, the torsion is balanced outby the gantry.

Two post lift is divided into symmetricaland asymmetric. Symmetrical lift has virtually the same arm length in all ofits four arms so as to concentrate the car's center (barycenter)in the middle of the post. This symmetrical lift may be the optimal choice forthe daily maintenance of pickups and vans. However, as for symmetrical two postlift that doesn't have a post distance wide enough, it is unable to open thecars' doors when they are lifted, which is a great defect. Asymmetric lift'spost can be turned back at a certain angle (about 30°). When cars are stoppedat a proper place on the asymmetric lift, they will move backwards a littlebit, so we can get into the car through the doors easily. Besides, this kind ofasymmetric life's rotating post can ensure that cars' center-of-gravity islocated right between the posts.
